The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ NEF project (Digital and Empowerment in Social Work Training) took place on 20 and 21 March 2025 at IRTS Hauts-de-France in Loos. This meeting marked the official start of a three-year cooperation involving six partners from France, Belgium, Romania, and Portugal.
On the agenda: a presentation of administrative and financial rules, updates on the work already initiated by each partner (communication strategy, quality assurance, research methodology, digital tools), and a visit to the IRTS audiovisual studios. The consortium also engaged in rich thematic discussions that laid the groundwork for the future direction of the project.
Beyond these technical aspects, the event provided a valuable human moment, strengthening collaboration and mutual trust between the participating organisations. Everyone’s involvement and energy contributed to a dynamic and ambitious launch, firmly rooted in our shared objective: empowering vulnerable people through digital innovation and inclusive social work training.
The next project meeting will take place in autumn 2025 in Belgium.
