Following the completion of the NEF Methodological Framework, project partners in France, Romania, Portugal, and Belgium have launched the next key phase: identifying innovative practices and tools that promote empowerment through digital inclusion. Each participating country will contribute to the collection of a total of 20 innovative practices and tools, selected based on their potential to enhance autonomy and digital participation among vulnerable individuals. These practices will: – Reflect diverse cultural, institutional, and technological contexts – Showcase real-world impact and innovation in social work – Serve as a basis for further co-development and training activities within the NEF project – This identification phase is essential to building a rich and meaningful knowledge base of successful digital empowerment approaches across Europe. Examples of Best Practices May Include: – Co-Creation and Participatory Approaches Involving vulnerable groups directly in the design, implementation, and evaluation of services or programs. – Community-Based Learning & Peer SupportEmphasizing non-formal education and peer-to-peer networks to help individuals gain skills and confidence. – Accessible E-learning Platforms Platforms with accessibility features designed to support marginalized learners. – Digital Storytelling Tools Platforms that empower users to share personal narratives, fostering voice, visibility, and contributing to therapy, learning, and advocacy. – Open Badges & Micro-Credentials Digital credentials that recognize informal learning and skill development for vulnerable individuals—supporting validation of soft skills and facilitating access to employment or further education. – Mobility & Exchange Programs Initiatives that enable the sharing of lived experiences to build understanding, empathy, and confidence.
