This project aims to identify, promote, and co-develop innovative tools and practices to make digital technology a true lever for self-determination among vulnerable people.<\/p><p><strong>Empowerment<\/strong> means giving each individual the means to take control of their own life, by fully involving those concerned in the decisions, choices, and systems that affect them. This requires a professional approach based on \u201cdoing with,\u201d where social workers act as facilitators of autonomy for the people they support.<\/p><p><strong>NEF project activities include:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Identifying and showcasing existing empowerment practices across Europe<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Creating and testing digital training modules for social workers<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Adapting and piloting a dedicated digital tool with service users<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Disseminating the results at both national and European levels<\/p><p><strong>Target audiences of the project:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Vulnerable individuals<\/strong> (facing disability, poverty, digital exclusion, etc.) are directly involved in every stage of the project<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Social workers and social work students<\/strong>, who work with these populations on a daily basis<\/p><p><strong>A committed and complementary partnership:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>IRTS Hauts-de-France (France)<\/strong> \u2013 project coordinator and expert in social work training<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Habble (France)<\/strong> \u2013 developer of digital tools promoting autonomy for people with disabilities<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>CNASR (Romania)<\/strong> \u2013 The National College of Social Workers in Romania, a professional network with 11,800 members<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>ASSOC (Romania)<\/strong> \u2013 a grassroots organization committed for 30 years to the social inclusion of vulnerable groups<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Logopsycom (Belgium)<\/strong> \u2013 an educational innovation center focused on inclusion and digital tools<\/p><p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Aproximar (Portugal)<\/strong> \u2013 a Portuguese cooperative specialized in social policy and empowerment<\/p><p><strong>Stay tuned!<\/strong><br \/>The NEF project is well underway, and we\u2019ll be regularly sharing updates, calls for contributions, and results!<\/p><p>The next project meeting will take place in
